Data Deletion

You can request deletion of any personal data GeminiSoft Technologies holds about you, at any time, free of charge. This page explains exactly how to do that and what to expect.
What you can ask us to delete
- Your contact details, account profile, and any messages you have sent us.
- OAuth access tokens for any third-party platform you connected (Google Business Profile, Meta Instagram, etc.).
- Posting history, scheduling records, and engagement metrics generated through our products.
- Any uploaded content (images, copy drafts) stored in our systems.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to privacy@geminisoft.in.
- Use the subject line: "Delete my data".
- In the email body, include the email address associated with your account (or the business name + admin email if you are requesting on behalf of an organisation).
- If you wish to limit the scope (e.g. delete only Instagram-related data, keep your account otherwise active), please tell us so explicitly.

How quickly we act
- Within 7 days: we acknowledge your request by email and verify your identity.
- Within 30 days: we complete deletion across our systems and confirm completion in writing. This timeframe meets the requirement under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and GDPR Article 17.
- If your request involves data we hold across multiple connected platforms, we will revoke our access tokens to those platforms and delete all data stored on our side. The platform itself (e.g. your own Instagram or Google Business Profile) will continue to exist under your direct control — we only ever held permission to act on your behalf.
What deletion means in practice
- Your account is closed and access is revoked.
- OAuth tokens are deleted from our database and our access to your connected platforms is revoked.
- Personal data and content stored in our systems are removed from active databases. Backup snapshots roll off our retention schedule within 90 days.
- Anonymised aggregate analytics that contain no personal identifiers may be retained for product-improvement purposes.
What we may have to keep
In some cases, law requires us to retain certain records (such as financial transactions, tax invoices, or evidence relevant to a legal dispute). Where that applies, we will tell you which records are retained and why, and we will delete the rest.
Disconnect without deletion
If you only want to disconnect a platform (e.g. revoke our Instagram access) without deleting your overall account with us, you can also do so directly:
- Instagram / Meta: Open the Instagram app → Settings & Privacy → Apps and Websites → remove "GeminiSoft" or the relevant app name.
- Google Business Profile: Open business.google.com → choose your business → Users → remove GeminiSoft as a Manager.
Disconnecting at the platform level immediately invalidates our access tokens. We will then delete the corresponding tokens and any cached data within 30 days.
